How did you get to where you are today?

I studied law outside the U.S, then migrated here and went back to law school. I worked as a Paralegal before I went back to Law School. As an immigrant, I saw how other immigrants were taken advantage of, so I wanted to practice in an area of law where I could relate to people in this situation and then make every personal and professional effort to help them out. My family says I was always an over-achiever – Valedictorian at High School, Honors in College, and always pushing myself to become the best version of myself. I want to become a Judge or a Diplomat later on in my career.

What is the best tip to excel or succeed in your industry?

Be honest and care for your clients. They make or break your business. Word-of-mouth, is still the best advertising, in my opinion – make one client pleased and they will brag about you. I have received a lot of clients based off word-of-mouth. In fact, most of my clients have come from other client referrals.

What advice would you give yourself 5 years ago?

Keep working hard – it will pay off. It’s a motto I’ve lived by most of my life and it has gotten me where I am today.

Any advice to people considering pursuing your path?

Work hard, and make a plan. Start off with the end result in mind, then figure out the steps you need to get there. This way, everything you do will be geared towards the outcome you want, and this will keep you on track.

Why did you decide to locate your office at Workspace by Rockefeller Group’ 48 Wall Street location?

I first heard about Workspace by Rockefeller Group through a friend. I had a virtual office for a while, and really enjoyed the space and the staff. Once a physical office became available I took the opportunity and got it. I wanted the “Wall Street” name and reputation, and Workspace by Rockefeller Group made it happen. The staff is awesome, and I really love working from my own space. I would never give it up for any other landlord.

How has this location helped your business?

The office is near every form of public transportation. It’s easy for my clients to get here from anywhere in the city. It’s very convenient for my clients and myself. I wanted to be in a professional environment with professional people. The office speaks for itself; it’s clean, secure, and has a wonderful staff. The office is private and I can personalize it. I value this location lot. I don’t know what I’d do without Rockefeller.
